Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patient histories, performing specific assessments and documenting results to guide treatment protocols.
• Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process to ensure alignment with their recovery expectations.
• Implement treatment strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs while staying current with evolving healthcare practices and guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, assessing the need for modifications to care plans as patients' conditions progress.
• Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, including detailed evaluations, progress notes, and outcome assessments.
• Exhibit strong time management skills by efficiently meeting productivity expectations and maintaining an organized schedule.
• Contribute to departmental goals and objectives, ensuring compliance with all governmental and accreditation standards.
• Pursue continuing education and mentoring opportunities within the organization, helping cultivate future professionals.
• Enhance customer experience by providing flexible care options and actively participating in community outreach efforts to improve access to services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient clinics, you will work primarily with individuals seeking rehabilitation services due to various musculoskeletal injuries, surgical recoveries, neurological conditions, and sports-related issues. Our diverse client base values personalized care and supports a community-centric approach to physical therapy.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid physical therapist license in the state of Virginia is necessary.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years' experience as a physical therapist is preferred, we welcome new graduates who demonstrate exceptional potential and commitment to patient care. Previous experience in outpatient settings will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
