Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify the emotional and social needs of students and their families.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, addressing prevalent issues such as anxiety, grief, trauma, and social adjustment.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with students, families, and educators to support academic and emotional success.

• Work alongside teachers and school counselors to implement interventions that foster a supportive learning environment.

• Coordinate post-discharge services and community resources for families transitioning from a healthcare setting.

• Serve on school safety and wellness committees, offering insights into mental health initiatives and student well-being.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required, complying with legal standards and organizational policies.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, responding promptly to student emergencies with effective strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents experiencing various mental health challenges, including adjustment disorders, anxiety, and behavioral issues. You will engage not only with the students but also support their families by providing information, resources, and therapeutic strategies to navigate their child's mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
