Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring that you gather comprehensive information to inform treatment decisions.

• Provide individualized and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client, employing therapeutic techniques that align with evidence-based practices.

• Manage all necessary documentation, including billing records, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, consistently meeting established timelines.

• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies to ensure clients maintain stable functioning and support their overall wellness.

• Create comprehensive discharge plans, facilitating a smooth transition for clients once their treatment goals are achieved.

• Adhere to all federal and state regulations, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, maintaining ethical and professional standards at all times.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by participating in training sessions and continuing education opportunities to enhance your competence and knowledge.

• Engage in regular case consultations and agency meetings, contributing to a collaborative environment that fosters shared learning and best practices.

• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory training to remain compliant with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns. Clients may include individuals seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating inclusive treatment environments, and sensitive to the diverse cultural backgrounds that inform clients' experiences and perceptions of mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related discipline is required for licensure.

• You must hold a current and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in community health settings and those familiar with telehealth technologies. Compensation and Benefits\n
