Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work while being connected to our vibrant outpatient office. You will engage regularly with colleagues for case consults and team meetings, ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment. Your typical work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend shifts to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate client symptoms, including severity and duration related to mood disorders.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that reflect their distinct needs and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to mood disorders.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families on managing mood disorders, including coping strategies and treatment options.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to offer integrated care and support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with patients experiencing a range of mood disorders. Our clientele is diverse, coming from various backgrounds and walks of life. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Florida.

• Demonstrated competence in clinical practice with at least two years of post-licensure experience focused on mood disorders.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities specifically applicable to mood disorders.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to comprehensive client care.

• Exemplary communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have proven expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches, including CBT and DBT. Experience with psychopharmacology and an understanding of medication management as it pertains to mood disorders will significantly enhance your role within our team.
