Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients to understand their medical history, limitations, and specific needs related to rehabilitation.
• Develop, implement, and adjust effective treatment plans tailored to each patient, ensuring they align with professional standards and best practices.
• Document patient progress accurately in both verbal and written forms, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to formulate comprehensive care strategies, discuss treatment progress, and make necessary adaptations to care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and the importance of following through with prescribed therapies.
• Supervise and support the development of assigned support staff, including physical therapy aides and students, ensuring proper delivery of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with outpatient clients from diverse backgrounds, presenting a variety of orthopedic and rehabilitative needs. Patients may include athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals rehabilitating from surgeries, and seniors managing chronic conditions. Your ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients of all ages and cultures will be essential in facilitating positive therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for patient interaction and coordination with the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing and electronic documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
