Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider both psychological and medical factors affecting patients' well-being.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies tailored to each patient's distinct needs.

• Work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure seamless coordination of care, enhancing the pathway to effective treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services, demonstrating the ability to manage mental health emergencies with composure and skill.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Marshall Care community health clinic serves a diverse range of patients, many of whom are navigating complex conditions involving both mental health issues and physical health challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to support individuals across various demographics, tailoring interventions to meet their unique circumstances, whether they are coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, or other co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• Demonstrated experience in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect deeply with patients and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Expertise in maintaining patient confidentiality and professional boundaries in compliance with ethical standards.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and familiarity with computer applications relevant to the role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
