Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical status, including mobility, strength, and function, using diagnostic and prognostic assessments.

• Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans and provide guidance as necessary.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and education to patients, promoting engagement and self-management in their recovery process.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and physical agents, such as massage and traction, to facilitate healing.
• Assess the home and community environments for rehabilitation needs, making recommendations that promote patient independence.
• Document patient progress meticulously through clinical records, including initial evaluations and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on care plans, sharing insights with fellow professionals to enhance overall treatment strategies.

Qualifications
