Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Valleywise Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Implementing and modifying treatment techniques based on patient progress and physician directives, employing methods aligned with the latest research and best practices.
• Delivering skilled therapeutic interventions directly in the clinic while also providing support in a home therapy setting as required.
• Cooordinating care with fellow health professionals, ensuring holistic support for patients and enhancing overall treatment effectiveness.
• Educating patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies to empower them to achieve their functional goals.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and performance metrics to meet both clinical and business objectives, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will serve a diverse array of patients spanning various demographics and therapeutic needs, including orthopedic injuries, pediatric concerns, neurologic conditions, and sports-related rehabilitation. Your role will focus on building authentic connections with patients, understanding their personal recovery goals, and guiding them through their rehabilitation journey with empathy and expert care.

Qualifications

To be considered for this physical therapist role, candidates must have:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Experience of at least two years in a clinical setting, with a track record of successful patient outcomes.
• Current CPR certification and foundational knowledge of emergency care procedures.

Compensation and Benefits
