Up And Running Physical Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Waldwick, New Jersey. Work Environment

The position is situated at our onsite rehabilitation facility in Waldwick, NJ. Comprising state-of-the-art equipment and welcoming therapy spaces, our practice is designed to facilitate optimal patient experiences. You will be part of a cohesive team of healthcare professionals dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for our patients. The clinics' operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured and predictable schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of each patient to assess their movement limitations, pain levels, and specific functional needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy programs tailored to each patient's unique circumstances and recovery goals.
• Guide patients through targeted strength and mobility exercises, ensuring they are performed correctly to maximize efficacy and prevent injury.
• Employ advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate discomfort, enhance mobility, and promote healing.
• Regularly update treatment plans based on patient progress, adapting interventions as necessary to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient demographic, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Patients may include athletes, post-operative recovery individuals, and those with conditions affecting their daily living activities. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding them on their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Applicants must possess an active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience providing patient care in a physical therapy setting.
• Proficient knowledge of manual therapy techniques and their application in outpatient rehabilitation.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, particularly WebPT, to maintain patient documentation and track treatment progress.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Clinical familiarity with modalities and equipment commonly used in an outpatient setting.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to enhance the therapeutic process.
