Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), you will be actively involved in:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging, therapeutic group sessions that promote connection among peers, enabling clients to share experiences and learn from one another in a supportive setting.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Deliver empathetic, personalized counseling to help clients explore their unique thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, equipping them with effective coping strategies and actionable plans for improvement.

• Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to create individualized and goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and preferences, ensuring a client-centered approach to care.

• Monitoring Progress: Assess and track clients' progress using various assessment tools to measure outcomes effectively and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.

• Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to coordinate care and consult on complex cases for optimal client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on teens and young adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, often related to transitions in life such as educational stress, identity exploration, and relationship issues. This demographic deserves a nuanced, compassionate, and evidence-based approach, which you will provide through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), combining therapeutic modalities tailored to our clients' needs.

Qualifications\n

• Valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly with adolescents and young adults.

• Strong communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, and a genuine passion for helping others.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or similar approaches.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and treatment plans effectively.

• Previous work in a community health clinic or similar setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
