Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Broomfield Mental & Wellness Clinic, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed psychosocial assessments to understand each patient’s mental health needs, challenges, and strengths.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address various mental health disorders.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop and coordinate comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals.

• Providing direct support to patients and their families, assisting them in understanding diagnoses, treatment options, and navigating the complexities of available resources.

• Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions, incorporating feedback to refine therapeutic approaches continually.

• Engaging in crisis intervention as necessary, employing proven techniques to ensure patient safety and provide immediate emotional support.

• Leading therapeutic groups and psychoeducation sessions aimed at improving patients’ coping mechanisms and enhancing treatment adherence.

• Documenting all relevant patient information and progress in accordance with state regulations and clinical best practices, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients within the hospice care setting, who may be facing complex emotional challenges related to terminal illness, grief, and mental health disorders. You will work with individuals and families navigating significant life transitions, providing them with essential support and guidance during their most vulnerable moments.

Qualifications\n

Applicants for this role should possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and ethical guidelines relevant to clinical social work.

This full-time LCSW position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, we provide:
