Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that include psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to understand patients’ unique situations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions across various formats including individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Maintain precise clinical documentation in compliance with clinic policies and required regulatory standards, including progress notes and treatment plans.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, empowering them to develop skills and knowledge for effective management.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to coordinate and enhance patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to develop rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in providing mental health counseling.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 84,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
