Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner in Internal Medicine, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with physicians and healthcare providers to deliver coordinated care throughout the patient's healthcare journey.
• Conducting thorough assessments by reviewing patients' medical, physical, and psychosocial histories, as well as performing comprehensive health evaluations.
• Implementing non-invasive preventive screening procedures aligned with nationally recognized guidelines based on patient age and medical history.
• Formulating appropriate differential diagnoses through meticulous analysis of history, physical examinations, and clinical data.
• Developing tailored patient education plans that foster understanding and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Prescribing and administering necessary pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, ensuring compliance with best practices and established protocols.

Qualifications

To successfully fulfill the role of Nurse Practitioner at CareMed, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
• An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
• A foundational 3 to 4 years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating competence in internal medicine.
• Knowledge and proficiency with medical technology, including electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate patients about their health and advocate for their healthcare needs.
• Experience in diagnosing and managing a wide variety of medical conditions, coupled with a proactive approach in developing effective treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a hospital or urgent care setting, as well as familiarity with multidisciplinary team collaboration and patient management systems. Additional certifications in advanced practice nursing or specialization in internal medicine will be considered a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
