Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent, quality healthcare in line with recognized national standards, ensuring that all patients receive comprehensive evaluations and treatments.
• Collaborate effectively with office staff to optimize office practices, resulting in improved patient flows and overall practice efficiency.
• Act as a liaison between practice management and hospital administration, advocating for office needs and improvements.
• Foster a strong identity within the Thompson Health community by promoting teamwork, engagement, and professional development among staff.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards while continuously seeking to enhance patient care initiatives.
• Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans, prioritizing the well-being of each patient.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and comprehensibly in a timely manner, ensuring accessibility for patient treatment and regulatory needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, including adults and seniors with a wide range of health concerns. You will be responsible for providing care that addresses age-specific needs, employing your knowledge of growth and development principles throughout the life span. Your ability to assess and interpret patient data will directly impact care delivery and patient outcomes, as you strive to create tailored management plans that align with each individual’s health goals.

Qualifications

• Current New York State certification/registration as a Family, Adult, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
• AANP Board Certification is required.
• Possess a valid DEA license.
• Able to obtain appropriate privileges at F. F. Thompson Health.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient setting is preferred, enabling you to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $150,000 to $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
