This position, located near Timmonsville, SC, is ideal for skilled SPED professionals passionate about providing meaningful support in an onsite school environment. With immediate openings available, you’ll play a key role through the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
Your qualifications and background:
- Hold a valid Special Education teaching license (SPED License required; emergency certification not accepted)
- Experience with elementary or PreK autism spectrum disorders is highly valued
- Open to educators traveling with pending certification, provided licensure is actively in process
- Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
- Committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to students in elementary autism SPED and PreK SPED settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress, document performance, and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Partner with school staff and related service providers to meet student needs
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines
This onsite role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with two positions available—making it perfect for educators ready to bring their passion and skills to an engaged school community.
