Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education (SPED) certification in South Carolina
• Experience working with students who have severe disabilities, preferably in a self-contained classroom
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to effectively adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to diverse learner needs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for team-based collaboration and family engagement
• Commitment to maintaining a positive, structured classroom environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction tailored to students with severe disabilities
• Develop, monitor, and report on progress toward each student’s IEP goals
• Foster development in academic, behavioral, life-skills, and social-emotional areas
