Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with special needs in an elementary or PreK setting. Two onsite Special Education Teacher positions are available, working with dedicated professionals to make a genuine difference in young lives. Flexible start date is available with assignments running through May 2027.
Ideal candidates bring their passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their fullest potential. Preference is given to educators who can step confidently into elementary autism or PreK special education classrooms, collaborating with other specialists and classroom staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification; emergency certificates are not accepted
- Experience with elementary autism and/or PreK special education caseloads
- Ability to work onsite (remote/virtual positions are not available)
- Willingness to consider candidates with travel and pending certifications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans for assigned students
- Engage with families, therapists, and administrative staff to support student progress
- Facilitate instructional activities tailored to diverse learning needs in SPED classrooms
- Assess and document student growth, adjusting strategies as needed
- Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment that promotes each child’s success
