Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools and personalized interviews to identify patient needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy in individual, couple, and family sessions, ensuring a robust approach to each patient’s unique challenges.

• Facilitate therapeutic psychoeducational groups aimed at community building and addressing common mental health concerns, helping patients feel supported and less isolated.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment strategies are maintained throughout a patient's journey.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, assisting patients in navigating acute challenges while ensuring their immediate safety.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions concerning their care.

• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation through a secure Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with legal standards and confidentiality protocols.

• Participate in case consultations and ongoing training sessions, actively engaging in professional development to remain updated with the latest advancements in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
