Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health concerns through individual sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to evaluate their psychological states.

  Develop and implement personalized therapy plans that address specific mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to substance abuse and eating disorders.

  Facilitate ongoing therapy sessions, providing clients with necessary tools for coping and resilience, and tracking their progress toward established therapeutic goals.

  Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and appropriate referrals as needed.

  Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using our EHR systems to chart treatment plans and progress notes, safeguarding client confidentiality and adhering to professional standards.

  Engage in continuous professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and staying current with new therapeutic practices and research in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Wellpath, you will work with a diverse client base experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds and cultures, and you will employ culturally responsive practices to meet their unique needs effectively.

Qualifications\n

  A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• \n

  A minimum of two years' experience in a clinical mental health setting.

• \n

  Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches, including crisis intervention techniques.

  Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients and collaborate efficiently with interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits\n
