Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients’ emotional, social, and financial statuses, establishing their specific needs to inform their care plans.
• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions tailored to address issues such as adjustment disorders, grief, stress management, and coping strategies related to substance use and recovery.
• Work collaboratively with medical teams to develop integrated treatment plans and ensure that psychosocial care complements medical interventions for optimized patient outcomes.
• Cooperate with external community organizations to facilitate post-discharge services, ensuring patients have a clear support pathway as they transition back to their daily lives.
• Offer education and emotional support to patients and their families, guiding them through treatment options and available resources in the community.
• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, providing immediate support to patients and families during challenging moments.
• Document all interactions, assessments, and patient progress in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring transparency and quality in patient care.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and hospital committees, contributing your expertise on social work practices and advocating for patient needs.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in our Detox Center, you will be primarily focused on supporting adults grappling with substance use disorders. Qualifications
