Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate meaningful progress and effective coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them with knowledge for recovery.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to adapt to evolving needs and optimize outcomes.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive, integrated approach to mental health care.

• Remain informed of the latest evidence-based practices and research in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintain confidential and precise documentation of client encounters, treatment plans, and progress in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and seeking peer support to refine therapeutic practices.

• Advocate for clients by promoting understanding and de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily targets individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive and culturally responsive therapeutic environment where every individual is treated with respect and compassion.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona is mandatory.

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with prescribing psychiatrists.
