Work Environment

You will work in an onsite rehabilitation center that is both welcoming and well-equipped to accommodate a variety of outpatient physical therapy needs. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured work schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions to implement effective treatment plans.
• Create and execute individualized therapy programs based on evidence-based practices, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities.
• Deliver hands-on therapy, provide exercise instruction, and engage patients in educational discussions to promote recovery and injury prevention.
• Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring that treatment plans are modified as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation strategies that address both short-term and long-term patient goals.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs, pain management techniques, and vital post-treatment care procedures to ensure continued progress.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in physical therapy treatment approaches, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain, or suffering from sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• A valid Virginia Physical Therapist License with a good standing status is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is mandatory; Master's or Doctorate degrees are welcomed.

Preferred Experience

• While we welcome applications from new graduates, experience in outpatient, inpatient, or home health settings is preferred.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required or should be obtained shortly upon arrival.

Compensation and Benefits
