Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Parkridge, your primary duties will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to establish comprehensive treatment plans.
• Implementing specialized therapeutic interventions tailored for diverse populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients.
• Delivering hands-on, skilled care to improve patients' conditions and functionality in line with their physicians' guidance.
• Providing education and training to patients and caregivers about treatment protocols and effective management strategies.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to maximize patient outcomes, contributing to both individual recovery and organizational goals.
• Demonstrating excellent customer service and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Collaborating with colleagues to meet minimum utilization goals while upholding quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clinical focus will encompass a diverse range of patient demographics, primarily addressing orthopedic issues. You'll work with individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions, ensuring your approach is sensitive to each patient's unique needs. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on orthopedics.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in word processing and essential computer skills.
