In this role, you will work closely with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions, assisting them as they regain their strength and range of motion through evidence-based interventions.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is primarily onsite, allowing you to engage directly with patients in our welcoming facility. As a part of our interdisciplinary team, which currently includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will collaborate closely to assess patient needs and implement effective treatment plans. Our center is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and rehabilitation equipment to ensure you can provide the best services possible. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient limitations and set achievable goals in collaboration with each individual.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused and personalized care tailored to their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises aimed at enhancing patient mobility and reducing pain.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans using evidence-based practices while maintaining a cost-effective approach.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and targeted exercises to promote self-management and independence.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress meticulously, utilizing EMR software such as WebPT to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to care where necessary.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging adherence to treatment protocols and lifestyle changes.
• Stay current on advancements in physical therapy practices by engaging in ongoing professional education and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. We focus on creating individualized rehabilitation plans that cater to a diverse patient demographic, including athletes, active adults, and seniors. As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients who are eager to regain their mobility and return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must have earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and possess a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrated history of success in orthopedic outpatient settings with a strong commitment to patient care.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy and implementing effective exercise regimens tailored to individual needs.
• No disciplinary actions on your professional record, maintaining a high standard of ethical practice.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to manage patient documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic clinic is highly desirable.
• A strong passion for rehabilitation and a dedication to continuously enhancing patient outcomes through innovative practices.
• Experience with patient education and empowerment techniques to encourage lasting lifestyle changes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
