Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed clinician, you will take on the following responsibilities:

• Conduct individual assessments, creating personalized treatment plans for clients with symptoms of major mental illness or severe emotional disorders.

• Engage actively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care and ensure seamless delivery of services.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, tailoring approaches according to clients' specific needs and preferences.

• Monitor and document client progress, adhering to treatment goals and adjusting strategies as required.

• Participate in crisis intervention efforts, utilizing evidence-based techniques to navigate acute episodes effectively.

• Implement preventive strategies and recovery services to promote long-term mental health benefits for clients.

• Perform safety assessments and ensure a secure environment for all involved in treatment.

• Collaborate with external organizations to facilitate broader support and resources for clients.

• Complete necessary administrative tasks, including timely documentation and reporting to track client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on clients facing mental health challenges within the detox center. You will work with diverse populations, including adolescents and young adults, who require compassionate and effective therapeutic interventions. Your experience and sensitivity towards varied backgrounds, cultural norms, and mental health needs will be pivotal in fostering trust and effective healing relationships.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Must hold a current LCSW license in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in mental health settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
