Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intake assessments and evaluate patient needs to inform tailored treatment plans.

• Engage with patients through counseling sessions to discuss their challenges and emotional hurdles.

• Diagnose mental and emotional disorders and actively develop effective coping strategies alongside patients.

• Monitor progress towards treatment goals and adjust individualized plans in response to patient feedback and outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma-informed care concepts and effective stress and coping mechanisms.

• Coordinate with healthcare providers, social services, and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.

• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in the field of mental health by completing continuing education courses.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve patients who have experienced trauma, whether from physical injuries, emotional setbacks, or traumatic life events. Your role is pivotal in helping them navigate their emotional landscape and reclaim their lives. By focusing on trauma recovery, you will provide crucial support that fosters healing and promotes holistic wellbeing, enabling our clients to achieve personal goals and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
