Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Top Point Mental Health Solutions, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patients' histories and treatment needs.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans designed to enhance trauma recovery and improve resilience in clients.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group sessions.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions focused on processing trauma and cultivating effective coping strategies.
\n
• Leading group therapy sessions that promote healing and enable shared experiences among trauma survivors.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, integrated patient care.

• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and emotional support.
\n
• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development and case consultations that enhance knowledge and practice in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role is pivotal in helping these patients understand their experiences, process their feelings, and adopt healthy coping mechanisms. Building trust and rapport will be central to your approach, as many clients may have had challenging experiences with mental health services before.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following educational and professional qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid Washington state license as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
