Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, facilitating a flexible work setting that allows you to connect with patients in the comfort of their homes through our telehealth platform. You will be equipped with the necessary technology and resources to provide high-quality services while aligning with our organization's commitment to trauma-informed care. We operate Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and identify appropriate interventions tailored to their needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at helping patients recover from trauma and build resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma, developing coping strategies, and fostering emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive and holistic care for every patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available support resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on enhancing trauma-informed practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continuously improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals suffering from the effects of trauma, including complex PTSD and dissociative disorders. The patients you serve may have diverse backgrounds and needs, contributing to the complexity and variety of cases you encounter. You will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their recovery journey, offering support and guidance through evidence-based treatment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and the principles of trauma-informed care.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and provide empathetic support to distressed patients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred to support your understanding of trauma-focused therapies, a strong foundation in delivering trauma-related interventions will further enhance your candidacy. Experience in a telehealth or outpatient setting, coupled with a working knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, will help accelerate your professional integration into our team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
