This position is designed for remote work, allowing you flexibility while delivering high-quality mental health services. Despite the remote setting, you will be integrated into a dynamic and collaborative team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and other specialists, all dedicated to ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care. Regular team meetings and case consultations will foster a strong support network as you navigate the complexities of clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history and tailor appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery, including setting measurable goals and regularly reviewing progress with clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other modalities to facilitate healing.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster resilience.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care, attending regular case consultations and coordinating with psychiatrists and support staff.

• Offer crisis intervention and stabilization, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and supported.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for continued support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, staying current with the latest research and practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals who have experienced trauma and are navigating various psychological challenges associated with such experiences. Our patient demographic includes adults and adolescents grappling with the aftermath of traumatic events, including physical and emotional abuse, combat experiences, and other life-altering incidents. Your role is pivotal in fostering an environment of trust and safety, where clients can explore their feelings and progress toward long-term recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington state.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a clinical setting focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and proven expertise in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies, demonstrating a strong foundation in both therapeutic techniques and clinical best practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
