Position Overview

Work Environment

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with us, you will have the flexibility of a full-time remote position, working Monday through Friday. This independent contractor role allows you to manage your schedule while keeping your focus on delivering exceptional mental health services to our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs, particularly for seniors, to develop personalized treatment strategies.
• Provide supportive psychotherapy sessions focusing on both individual and group therapies, aimed at addressing and improving mental health challenges faced by adults and seniors.
• Research and maintain an up-to-date inventory of community resources to facilitate appropriate referrals, ensuring clients have access to essential support services.
• Document client interactions and treatment progress meticulously to monitor outcomes and adjust strategies as needed, adhering to best practices in social work.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate psychological insights into care plans, enhancing the overall effectiveness of interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary responsibility will be to support senior clients and adults facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and life transitions. You will leverage your expertise to create a safe and empathic therapeutic environment that encourages openness and healing. Understanding the unique challenges that seniors face, you will work collaboratively to help them navigate their circumstances, improving their mental health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical social work practices.
• Must hold a valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, efficiently managing multiple case loads while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in geriatric care is preferred but not required, providing an opportunity for growth in this specialized area.

Compensation and Benefits
