Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial interviews and assessments to determine the needs of clients and appropriate treatment plans.

• Utilize bio-psychosocial assessments to continuously evaluate and monitor client progress, synthesizing information from various sources including clients, families, and referral sources.

• Apply evidence-based practices and demonstrate competencies that adhere to the current standards of chemical dependency treatment.

• Implement individualized treatment modalities that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards regarding client treatment documentation.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in mental health treatment related to substance use disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on individuals living with addiction and their families, primarily in the Battle Ground area and surrounding communities. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and as a counselor, you will tailor your approach to meet the unique cultural, social, and psychological needs of each individual. You will play a crucial role in fostering resilience and empowering clients to reclaim their lives from addiction.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Services, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Counseling or a related field is required.

• Current Washington State licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• At least two (2) years of relevant experience in therapy or counseling, particularly with a focus on addiction treatment.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective client interaction and documentation.

• A deep respect for client confidentiality and ethical standards in mental health practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
