Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Beacon Health, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific goals, using a variety of techniques such as exercise, manual therapy, and assistive device training.
• Tracking and documenting patients' progress throughout their treatment journey and adjusting plans as necessary based on their response to therapy.
• Collaborating closely with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes and ensure comprehensive care.
• Providing education and training to patients and their families on rehabilitation practices and the use of assistive devices.
• Staying updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy through continuing education, workshops, and professional networking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient demographic, including children, adults, and elderly individuals facing a wide range of physical challenges due to injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Your ability to customize therapy approaches based on each patient's unique background and recovery goals will be instrumental in enabling them to regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using word processing software and maintaining electronic health records.
• An agile and adaptable approach to patient care, demonstrating flexibility in treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
