Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews and clinical assessments, documenting each case to track progress across the treatment spectrum.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment and recovery plans for clients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, applying varied therapeutic modalities tailored to client preferences and presenting issues.
\n
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, utilizing feedback and outcome measures to inform ongoing interventions.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure cohesive support for clients, especially those requiring hospitalization.

• Engage in proactive communication with clients and their families, providing guidance to assist them in managing mental health challenges effectively.

• Conduct follow-up assessments post-intervention to evaluate client outcomes and address any emerging needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be assisting a diverse client base, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. By utilizing a client-centered approach, you will work to empower individuals, couples, and families in their journey toward improved mental health. Your role will be pivotal in addressing both psychological needs and the underlying physical health conditions that may affect their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to foster therapeutic relationships with clients and facilitate effective collaboration with team members.

• Strong interpersonal skills accompanied by a sympathetic nature that contributes to positive client interaction.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working as a licensed mental health counselor is preferred, with a focus on potential specialties such as addiction recovery or trauma-informed care.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR), particularly AVATAR, enhancing efficiency in documentation and patient management.

• Thorough understanding of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices as they relate to counseling and treatment.

• Knowledge of pharmacological treatments and their psychological implications to assist in comprehensive client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with additional incentives such as a sign-on bonus.
