Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and the Medical Team Administrator to establish and coordinate individualized mental health treatment plans.

• Provide targeted mental health in-service training for medical, psychiatric, and security staff, enabling a holistic approach to patient care.

• Manage and de-escalate mental health crises, utilizing evidence-based interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients.
\n
• Represent the facility in commitment hearings as needed, ensuring appropriate mental health advocacy for patients.
\n
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment goals tailored to the specific needs of each client, utilizing therapeutic approaches that align with our patient-focused philosophy.

• Maintain meticulous records of all patient interactions and treatment processes, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health histories, including previous medication regimens and treatment outcomes.

• Compile regular reports on patient progress and treatment efficacy, contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

• Facilitate post-release referrals in coordination with nursing and mental health staff, ensuring seamless transitions for clients back into the community.
