This position offers a unique opportunity to provide therapeutic services to clients within a Detox Center in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona. You will play an essential role in promoting mental health and wellness by delivering personalized care through evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Work Environment\n

This role is exclusively remote, allowing for flexibility and the ability to conduct therapy in a comfortable environment. The hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential for flexible scheduling to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine each patient's unique needs and create tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques, to facilitate progress in individual, couple, and family therapy settings.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups, providing participants with valuable insights and fostering a sense of community among those facing similar challenges.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support services to clients experiencing immediate mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients about mental health disorders, treatments, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with a diverse clientele that may include individuals grappling with a range of mental health disorders, from mild anxiety to severe depressive episodes. Our focus on clients at a Detox Center allows for specialized support aimed at individuals utilizing treatment for substance use disorders, reinforcing the need for a sensitive approach to care that acknowledges the complex interplay between mental health and substance use.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with various therapeutic methodologies, particularly evidence-based practices.

• Proven proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and devising effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Demonstrated experience delivering therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and sound decision-making.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

• An ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.
