Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments, ensuring each patient feels understood and respected. Use these assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their personal and cultural backgrounds.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting approaches to best meet the varying needs of each patient.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on addressing a broad spectrum of mental health concerns and empowering patients towards resilience and emotional health.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide coordinated and effective care for our patients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies to ensure the well-being of those in peril.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, fostering awareness and understanding of community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system effectively.

• Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings, contributing to shared knowledge and cultural competency training.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in mental health and engage in ongoing professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve a diverse patient population, including individuals from various ethnic and cultural minority groups, the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant families. This role is integral in reducing health disparities by providing culturally responsive care that acknowledges and values the unique backgrounds of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LIMFT, LPCC, or LISW in the state of Nevada.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders along with established evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in providing culturally responsive individual and group therapy.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed during challenging situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and commitment to preserving patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to collective patient care strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
