Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients' trauma histories, and determining appropriate therapeutic strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.
\n
• Provide a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients process their trauma, implement coping strategies, and foster healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure an integrated care approach for all patients, enhancing the effectiveness of treatments.

• Provide essential crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources for further support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed on the latest research, trends, and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance our service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with trauma survivors, individuals suffering from PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Our patients present a wide variety of needs, and your role will be crucial in helping them navigate their recovery journeys through empathetic, individualized care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Proven experience and proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative mindset with an eagerness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
