This role is primarily remote, with the flexibility of incorporating both telehealth sessions and occasional in-office days as required. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for clients enrolling in counseling programs, establishing individualized treatment goals and strategies.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on both teens and adults, aimed at supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence.

• Maintain accurate and ethical documentation of treatment records while ensuring confidentiality of all client interactions and information.
\n
• Participate actively in clinical supervision meetings to enhance therapeutic skills and address case management strategies.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support, equipping clients with practical solutions and community resources to navigate their challenges.

• Assure continuous monitoring and management of assigned counseling cases, tracking progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary.

• Facilitate access to relevant community resources and referrals, acting as an advocate for clients to secure the assistance they require.

• Engage in monthly data reporting and administrative tasks to contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the counseling department.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily centers around working with women, teens, and children who have either been directly affected by domestic violence or are at risk of such environments. As a counselor, you will use your expertise in Play Therapy to engage younger clients, facilitating their expression and processing of trauma in a supportive setting. You will make a tangible impact by empowering clients to rebuild their lives, fostering resilience and hope.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Mental Health, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license is mandatory.

• Experience in individual counseling and family interventions with certifications related to therapeutic practices are strongly preferred.

• Must be available to work late afternoon hours, with a minimum of two evenings per week, as well as some weekend availability.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for any in-office duties or client referrals.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience and interest in providing Play Therapy services is highly desirable, particularly to engage with young clients effectively.

• Previous work experience in a telehealth environment, showcasing adaptability and proficiency with digital therapeutic tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
