Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide mindfulness-based interventions such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and other therapeutic techniques tailored to individual client needs.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand each client’s unique challenges, stressors, and goals, designing personalized treatment plans accordingly.
\n
• Lead sessions incorporating mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques aimed at fostering self-awareness and emotional balance.
\n
• Organize and facilitate group workshops focused on stress management, resilience-building strategies, and mindfulness practices to help clients develop coping skills.
\n
• Integrate mindfulness within individual therapy sessions to address specific mental health issues and improve clients' overall well-being.
\n
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to each client's treatment.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, client progress, and mindfulness interventions in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.

• Engage in personal mindfulness practice and professional development to refine your skills and knowledge in MBSR and related methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our outpatient clinic serves a diverse population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and other mental health challenges. We focus on empowering clients to develop effective coping strategies and cultivate mindfulness as a tool for managing their mental health. The ideal therapist will be compassionate and dedicated to building strong, therapeutic relationships that facilitate client growth and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Demonstrable proficiency in integrating mindfulness techniques within therapeutic frameworks.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary to build a calming, supportive environment for therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience and/or training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) methodologies is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and best practices in mental health care.

• Previous experience working with outpatient clientele and effectively tailoring interventions to diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
