Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed initial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, utilizing standardized screening tools to determine appropriate treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet each client's unique goals and challenges, ensuring a personalized approach to care.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions using various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices, to facilitate effective healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to deliver integrated care, ensuring all aspects of the client’s well-being are addressed.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues to promote understanding and support during the therapeutic process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records, adhering to all regulatory and ethical guidelines, to ensure client privacy and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be assisting clients at our Detox Center. You will work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health disorders, and those in various stages of recovery. This role is integral in facilitating their path to recovery and emotional resilience through compassionate care and evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
\n
• A minimum of two years experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating the ability to assess and treat diverse client needs.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices relevant to a range of mental health disorders.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to form trusting relationships with clients, motivating them through their recovery journey with exceptional counseling skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, supporting effective collaboration within the treatment team.

Preferred Experience\n
