Wellcure Mental Therapeutic Clinic is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) to join our team in providing essential mental health support. This full-time position allows for remote work, providing flexibility while serving children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and cognitive challenges throughout Arizona. LMFTs will engage in both in-community and telehealth therapy, with an emphasis on accessible and tailored support for diverse families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions to address a variety of mental health issues, with a primary focus on children and adolescents.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family systems interventions to address emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of each client, ensuring that therapeutic goals are clear and actionable.

• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary Child Family Treatment Team, including social workers, psychiatrists, and behavioral aides, to create a holistic support system for clients and families.

• Document all interactions meticulously, including intake records, progress notes, and treatment evaluations, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

• Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss case updates, share insights, and recommend improvements to service delivery.

• Provide support and training to caregivers, emphasizing the development of positive coping strategies and behavioral management techniques in the home environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on providing support to children and adolescents aged 3-20 who navigate a range of challenges including developmental disabilities and cognitive impairments. In your role, you will help facilitate access to essential therapeutic interventions while equipping caregivers with tools to enhance their children’s emotional and social skills. Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Arizona.

• A commitment to serve a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 pm), with occasional weekend availability preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with clients, caregivers, and team members.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage caseloads and adhere to documentation requirements.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing positive behavior support and intervention strategies.

• Experience working with children ages 3-20, particularly those with intellectual or developmental disabilities, is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is strongly encouraged as we aim to serve a diverse client demographic.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, to ensure the safety of the children and communities we serve.

• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to client sessions as required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
