Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to identify the treatment needs of clients and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Delivering a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, aimed at improving client mental health.

• Facilitating psychoeducational and support group sessions that encourage community engagement and provide education on mental health topics.

• Collaborating effectively with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to create a cohesive and comprehensive care plan for each client.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic treatment modalities.

• Proven experience conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling or therapy. Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
