Work Environment

Our work setting is primarily dedicated to home care, meaning you will travel to various patient locations throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. You will work alongside a supportive team that includes two seasoned physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring collaborative patient care and consistent improvement in treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' physical capabilities and rehabilitation goals, tailoring treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Manage a caseload effectively, providing one-on-one care to patients, ensuring each session focuses on maximizing their functional abilities.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement interventions aimed at enhancing mobility and reducing pain, employing techniques such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients on their conditions and design exercise protocols that promote recovery while minimizing the need for medications or surgical interventions.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes accurately to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements while using EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize rehabilitation and recovery efforts.
• Encourage patients through motivation and support, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Our focus is on helping patients of varying ages regain their independence, enhance their range of motion, and improve their overall function. Through your commitment and expertise, you'll contribute to the rehabilitation journey of individuals who often face significant challenges in their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of personalized exercise programs.
• Strong experience and competence with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to facilitate efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, with proven success in managing patient outcomes through effective treatment interventions.
• Knowledge of current trends and advancements in orthopedic therapy practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
