Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use needs, employing standardized tools and client interviews.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, with specific interventions tailored to each client's situation.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies to promote healing and recovery.
• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation adhering to best practices and ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, contributing your insights and expertise to ensure coordinated care for clients.
• Participate actively in case reviews and treatment planning meetings, fostering a robust understanding of client progress and areas for improvement.
• Provide crisis intervention services, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate support to manage urgent client needs effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve engaging with adults seeking care for various mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder and substance use disorders. At our community health clinic, we serve a diverse clientele, reflecting the vibrant makeup of Bellevue and surrounding areas. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in Washington State.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment to individuals, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement and rapport building with clients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
