Work Environment

As a remote-based position, our licensed Mental Health Counselor will conduct all sessions from their home or any suitable remote location. Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging virtual therapy sessions with clients, utilizing secure video conferencing platforms such as Zoom or Telehealth.
• Perform thorough assessments of each client's mental health status, developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating evidence-based practices suited to diverse client populations.
• Keep meticulous and up-to-date records of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with ethical standards.
• Engage collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care.
• Adhere strictly to both ethical and legal regulations applicable to mental health counseling in Washington state.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your counseling skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with come from a variety of backgrounds and present a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your role will necessitate a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach, ensuring that each client's unique context is taken into account throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in Washington state (LMHC).
• A minimum of three years' experience in mental health counseling, with proven success in individual and group therapy settings.
• Experience and comfort with conducting therapy sessions via video conferencing technology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, setting and managing your own schedule effectively.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for client management, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health clinic setting and familiarity with diverse client populations.
• Background in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care.
• Previous experience with telehealth and e-therapy platforms.

Compensation and Benefits
