Position Overview

Coastal Health Therapy Center, LLC is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide services from the comfort of your home while remaining connected to our passionate and supportive team. Our typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility in scheduling may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients’ unique needs and craft effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and group support sessions to foster community resilience and address common mental health concerns.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention services to offer support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and understood.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and pertinent community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards throughout your practice.
• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development initiatives.
• Stay current on the latest research, therapeutic advancements, and best practices in the field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve engaging with a diverse range of patients facing various mental health challenges. You will provide compassionate care to individuals from different backgrounds, addressing issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and expertise in various evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated skill in conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and developing effective therapeutic strategies.
• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy, particularly to a varied demographic.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to build trusting relationships with patients.
• Strong judgment and adherence to professional ethics and boundaries.
• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology to enhance patient care.
• A collaborative spirit and capability to work seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of direct experience in a mental health setting, providing individual and group therapy.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care approaches.
• Experience working with patient populations in diverse socio-economic settings.
