Work Environment\n

This role allows you to work remotely while being part of an outpatient office practice based in Arlington Heights, Illinois. We have flexible working hours, as our services operate from 7 AM to 10 PM seven days a week. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, meticulously evaluating patients' trauma histories to recommend personalized treatment pathways.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience, and empowerment.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing for clients.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions tailored to address patients’ needs, focusing on processing traumatic experiences and cultivating effective coping strategies.

• Engage in meaningful collaboration with fellow professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure holistic and integrated care approaches for all patients.

• Provide immediate support in crisis situations, offering crisis intervention for clients in trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all records reflect the high-quality treatment provided.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities dedicated to enhancing trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. Our patient population ranges from children to adults, all seeking support in navigating the emotional and psychological effects of traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage clients with empathy and non-judgmental support.

• Capability to manage high-stress situations with professionalism and composure.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Willingness to see couples and participate in training provided by the organization.

• Self-driven diligence to complete clinical documentation within 24 hours.

Compensation and Benefits\n
