Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, providing the flexibility to perform your duties from the comfort of your home while maintaining a high standard of professional integrity. You will be interacting with clients through virtual therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive environment that fosters open communication and engagement. Our work setting promotes collaboration. Therefore, you will have regular virtual meetings with other mental health professionals to discuss strategies and share insights about client progress and innovative therapeutic approaches.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health needs accurately, analyzing factors such as emotional, social, and educational aspects.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team, including psychologists, educators, and administrative staff, to coordinate care and address the mental health needs of clients effectively.

• Act as an advocate for clients, facilitating access to community resources to address social determinants of health that may impact their mental well-being.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and therapy outcomes within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through training sessions and team discussions designed to enhance skills and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on providing mental health support to students in school settings, involving a diverse population that may include children, adolescents, and their families. Your work will be instrumental in addressing various issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and crisis intervention. Your contributions will directly influence the students' school experience and overall mental health outcomes, ensuring they are healthy, safe, and in an optimal learning environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
