Working within a supportive team of mental health professionals, you will utilize digital tools to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate therapy sessions. Our clinic utilizes advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline processes and ensure seamless communication between team members.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments through interviews to evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health and document findings for comprehensive records.

• Develop individualized treatment and recovery plans that are tailored to the unique needs of each client, whether they are individuals, couples, families, or groups.
\n
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that align with the latest developments in mental health care.

• Monitor clients’ progress towards their goals, revising treatment strategies as necessary to enhance their outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team which may include psychiatrists, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers to provide cohesive care.

• Maintain effective communication with external healthcare providers when follow-ups are needed for clients admitted to hospitals.
\n
• Identify and address potential barriers to recovery, fostering a supportive environment for clients and their families.
\n
• Assist family members and caregivers in understanding and managing the psychological challenges faced by their loved ones.

Inner Calm caters to a diverse client base in Seattle, ranging from adolescents to adults, who face various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• Passing scores in the NCE (National Counselor Examination) and/or the NCMHCE (National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR or similar platforms, to maintain client confidentiality and documentation integrity.

Preferred Experience\n

• Background in treating clients with co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, including addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth understanding of psychopharmacology and the effects of prescribed medications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, necessary for client interaction and documentation.

• An empathetic and compassionate disposition, coupled with sophisticated interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport.
