Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including severity, frequency, and duration.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients, guided by their specific needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance recovery.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of three years of experience in the mental health field, specifically focused on mood disorders.
